Mr.Japheth Ogutu was appointed as Homabay Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chief Executive Officer in January 2022.He previously served as Acting Chief Executive Officer at Nairobi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Ogutu is not a novice in the business circles.He has tried his hands in various ventures in diverse economic sectors in Kenya’s Landscape owing to his enviable business acumen. Japheth has implemented several complexed projects both with government agencies and private sector players.

Mr.Japheth Ogutu Marageri is an experienced, hands on, and a multi-faceted professional with a visible track record in the field of Consumer Protection, International trade- Investment and Public Administration to raise brand visibility of institutions.

Ogutu hosts Bachelors in Business Administration and Management, Diploma in Consumer Protection, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Procurement amongst other courses. Ogutu has over 10 years of experience working in different institutions at senior management level.
